NaNoWriMo - Day 11

Before I did anything today, I wanted to say, to all the men and women who have served Canada, to their families who make the daily sacrifice of their sons & daughters, their husbands & wives, thank you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you have done and given up so we are free.

We shall not forget.

  1. Well said Natasha, "We will remember them"

Over the last two days of the challenge I have written 1497 words bringing my running total to...7433.

  2. I too would like to thank the women & men in uniform, both past and present for their sacrifices.

My intention is to do a lot of writing today. I got started early so let's hope I can keep it going.

  3. Okay, that's enough for today. I managed to squeeze in two breaks. I think my eyeballs are turning into little video screens. I managed to have lunch but it was late as I totally forgot about it.

Anyway, as of now I'm sitting at:

    **** Day 11 **** +2225 = 18668 ****

I gotta get a real job, the life of a writer is gonna kill me!

  4. Yeah, I found it hard to get the writing done today--just met my goal, and it's 9:15 pm...not a late-night writer, but gotta get the job done, right?

On the bright side, we're almost at the halfway point and we're all still in the game, which I think counts for quite a bit!

Happy Friday, my friends. May the words flow like water and the chocolates never run out!! :D

  5. With regards to Remembrance Day, Neil Gaiman posted a good quote from Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.:

    I am grateful.

I reached 19,518 words today. It flowed a bit better, probably because I'm not doing it so phenomenally late.
