1. Get an agent for "The Forgotten Flapper."
2. Try to get WIP #2, "Million Dollar Mystery" written and edited by Christmastime. With this week's work putting previously written stuff into a new framework, I'm sitting at 30,600 words. Need to really sit down and beef up/polish it.
:)
Our philosophy is simple: fun and work, humour and support. We write all genres and in all styles and support each other by providing encouragement and helping each other develop thick skins in the face of industry rejections. We understand that as writers we must do the majority of the work ourselves and we embrace this by giving honest critiques mixed with gentle grace and lots of humour.
Cool on all counts--just wondering if goal #1 needs a little tweak?
ReplyDeletePerhaps, instead of "getting" an agent, it's better to have "query x-number of agents." I mean, whether you get an agent is a bit out of your control, but how many you query, that's totally in your goal range...
Make sense?
