"Elance.com" is a platform for online employment, they help hire and manage in the cloud. It helps businesses looking to staff-up a team on an hourly or project basis.
They also provide access to Writers in Edmonton. Others can post a job on Elance and get proposals from skilled professionals right away....people such as yourselves!?

ReplyDeleteDoes anybody in the group use this service, as I was thinking of signing up.
I remember about a year ago I asked about a similar company called Academia-Research and found out from someone in the group that if you type in the name of the group followed by complaints you can get some really interesting info.
I did this for elance.com and now I'm felling a little hesitant about signing up. The site I visited was:

Whenever I'm looking at a publisher/agent, I use the "complaints" & "company name" search form...If it was me then based on what I've read, Howard, I'd stay far away from this company.
DeleteThe big thing I read is a lack of client service coupled with not paying...the company might be grossing millions, but it seems as though it's on the backs of writers...
