Our philosophy is simple: fun and work, humour and support. We write all genres and in all styles and support each other by providing encouragement and helping each other develop thick skins in the face of industry rejections. We understand that as writers we must do the majority of the work ourselves and we embrace this by giving honest critiques mixed with gentle grace and lots of humour.

NaNoWriMo: Day 30
It's the last day and I think we're all at home plate (or pretty close to it). So...how does it feel? What are you going to do to celebrate? We all know what I'm going to do...although, I thought I'd kick things up and experiment with flavored hot chocolate (I know. I know. "Whoo, Tash, slow down a little. You're riding the rails."), but yeah that's me--I also bought myself some new pens, hopefully they're keepers...

I'm thinking LOADS of Columbo AND flavored hot chocolate. ;) AMIRIGHT?
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't tried it yet, mix eggnog with Drambuie, and grate FRESH nutmeg over the top. (the little balls-- you can get them at Bulk Barn). I now have my husband converted to this delicacy. :)
It's nice to be done, and great to see how many people made their goals. I'm not doing anything to celebrate though.
ReplyDeleteTotal 27000. I sure ran out of steam in the last half of the month.
ReplyDeleteCongratualtions everyone for finishing their goal.. I had the same problem as Simon running out of steam towards the end of the month and it felt like a chore to write instead of the joy of writing.
