INVITATION TO THE BOOK LAUNCH OF 

POISONED JUNGLE

The Midwest Book Review of Poisoned Jungle states: “James Ballard’s story of psychological and physical survival is riveting, a hard-hitting and thought-provoking read from start to finish.”

The author will conduct an Edmonton book launch of his novel on September 12. Due to Covid-19 considerations, an outdoor event is planned in a lovely setting where social distancing guidelines can be followed.

After a brief introduction of James Ballard, he will talk about writing the novel, a semi-autobiographical story of his experiences as a medic during and after his tour in Vietnam. The author will then give a fifteen-minute reading from the book. A question and answer with James will follow.

There is no charge to attend. Copies of Poisoned Jungle will be available for purchase, but entirely optional. We are not set up for debit or credit card purchases but will be selling copies for $20 on a cash basis, tax included.

We would ask that those attending bring a lawn chair for their comfort. Remember, it is an outdoor event so bring your sunscreen, hat or bug spray so you’ll be more comfortable.
