The Edmonton Writers Group presents a look at Tropes.
Okay, but what is a trope? It is a significant or reoccurring theme in a story. There are hundreds of tropes that readers encounter when reading. Some are so worn out as to be almost see-through, while others are essential staples of certain genres, and will never go out of fashion. In this session we will examine these different forms of tropes.
