but if you need a 5 minute break, then this is a great one page article to read. Warning: it is about writing technique. But I just read it and it spoke to me. okay, enough procrastinating. Time to write.
Our philosophy is simple: fun and work, humour and support. We write all genres and in all styles and support each other by providing encouragement and helping each other develop thick skins in the face of industry rejections. We understand that as writers we must do the majority of the work ourselves and we embrace this by giving honest critiques mixed with gentle grace and lots of humour.

12,500, but I feel I'm cheating. I'm editing, not writing and I'm going through chapters fixing problems noted on a previous pass, with long gaps in between the notes. But I don't know how else to measure my progress.ReplyDelete

That was a great article, Gregory, thanks for that!ReplyDelete
Simon, the EWG November writing challenge isnt' the same as NaNoWriMo. I think if you're being consistent with your edits and writing in general, then you're not cheating but meeting your goal. :)
I second that. :DReplyDelete
