Congratulations to all that have finished their goal! What a great feeling that must be. I can hardly wait to finish and then rest my brain, but with that will come some serious editing.

Our philosophy is simple: fun and work, humour and support. We write all genres and in all styles and support each other by providing encouragement and helping each other develop thick skins in the face of industry rejections. We understand that as writers we must do the majority of the work ourselves and we embrace this by giving honest critiques mixed with gentle grace and lots of humour.

That's RIDICULOUSLY fantastic work, guys--Howard and Jacquie--you're so close, now...it's almost done!!
ReplyDeleteLet's keep at it, gang!! Just put word after another, and we'll rock this!
Morning folks,
ReplyDeleteI've been working at this thing for about three hours, and then noticed that it's afternoon. So far I've got around 2000 words today, but another few hours might get me closer to me goal for today which is over 4500 if I can.
I've almost got everything down that I want to say, but I've still got loose ends (if I had hair I've probably have split ends too, but luckily I've escaped that fate).
Well...I opted for good food, good drink, and good friends over writing tonight...hopefully you guys had a better work ethic than me. :P

Well I'm not sure if counts as a good work ethic or not, but I've been working like a little beaver today, but getting dam tired (pun intended).
ReplyDeleteAt time like this the words of a fairly famous sailor come to mind:
"I stood all I can stands, I can't stands no more..."
- until tomorrow at least
**** Day 22 **** +3843 = 49732 Words ****
Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI was out of commission for a day and had to catch up tonight. I added a data point supporting the notion that hot yoga is god awful for any type of rheumatoid arthritis. Thankfully with regular activity it starts to feel a bit better...
Grinding away, wishing my copy of Dragon Dictate would get here faster (didn't want to support FutureShop or BestBuy), signing off at...
38,599 words.
I'm with you, Hal. Heat's bad for MS. Besides, i can't get into most of the positions without intense pain from either the MS OR the arthritis, so no yoga for me.
ReplyDeleteSaw this the other day, and laughed my ass off: http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/sea/2604350472.html
